I want to know steps to fix the majority of Email problems in iPhone.

On your iPhone or iPod Touch screen tap Settings and then Mail, Contacts, Calendars. Select your email account from the list, and then select it again on the next screen. Scroll down to the bottom and tap on the SMTP field under Outgoing Mail Server. Makes sure mail.telnetmail.ca is selected as the Primary Server.

Hello

1. Email address rejected by the server
This suggests that the email ID and password that you have entered in the settings is not valid. To solve this, click on settings> mail> select email account> tap account> change settings. Enter the correct configuration settings and restart the iPhone email app.

2. Cannot receive email
If in-spite of entering correct email address and password, if you receive "cannot get mail" error, it is advisable to contact your email service provider to check the reason behind the issue.

3. Phone fails to receive new emails when user is accessing email inbox from multiple devices
You are working on your email ID using your PC, and new email arrives. But, the same email does not appear in iPhone app. This is known as multi-device lock-out. Not just email clients, but even social networking apps like that of Twitter do not alert you about new notifications if you have logged in using multiple devices.

4. Email box seems frozen
This may happen after installing certain software updates. The best option is to hold the phone's home button for few seconds to get out of the application, and then, restart your phone. After that, reopen the email application again.

5. Server does not allow relaying
IPhone users face this issue while using their AOL account on their device, especially, after resetting their iPhone. Go to settings> mail, contacts, calendar> then select AOL account, and click on outgoing mail server (SMTP). Choose the primary server, and enter your username password for AOL account in outgoing mail server details space. This should take care of the problem.
