Turnigy 9XR Schematic Diagram Traced From PCB

Postby midge_5 » 24 Jul 2014, 03:24

Hello all, I thought I would share the 9XR (P033A_B) schematic diagram I have traced from my PCB I bought from HK (use at your own risk) although the schematic is a bit messy it should be accurate but please, please double check before making any modifications or following the diagram as I am not 100% sure all is correct! I would appreciate it if you could comment on any inaccuracies found so I can check & correct them, then update the diagram, even though I have spent hours doing this I cannot rule out mistakes as I do not have the full Turnigy 9XR, only the mainboard and other information was gathered by google searches & images/teardown vids.

Hope someone finds it useful & if you do please give credit where credit is due as this took me ages ;) & I am an old poor geezer just starting out in modelling.. (I have also saved this in PDF format but for ease of use only uploaded it as PNG)

Nice done. I'm not a specialist but why the JR plug ppm-in is not connected anywhere ? Could you explain where it schould be as this knowledge would be very useful for my project:

Well done a great piece of work.
does Hobby king not give out the wiring diagram as it is based on a open format or is that just for the firmware?

midge_5, this is excellent work, you’ve opened a path for people to edit it and improve it from their personal experiences. I was reviewing it and I can see there’s a bit of confusion where SK2 has been defined. Has SK2 connector been left open for further development?

I just noticed a tiny mistake in the schematic. The unpopulated resistor near C54 and 4051 is R73, not R27. R27 is right next to it and it is already properly shown in the schematic.

Hey I think I just managed to fry my main board, and was so thankful to see this however the pdf seems to be missing, is it still available somewhere.
Planing to give the transmitter to my brother who is an electrical engineer, so i think he will try to fix it rather than salvage it for parts.
I don't think the main boards are going to come back in stock on HK.
