Pretty sure you asked the same question on 9xforums.com.

Things are much tighter in the 9xR.

Probably will be possible to squeeze in in, but not been done yet.

Give it a bit of time and someone will no doubt work something out.

The voice option may use more current and drain the tx battery so going smaller will only require more frequent charging. Not a big deal since just a few years ago we usually charged before each time we went flying.
There is another option for the voice electronics, use the Hitec method and hang it outside I'm a box.
Maybe rewire the Futaba trainer connector, if it has enough pins, to carry all the required data and power for the add on module. In fact, it could have been prewired for that and HK would have had a new option accessory to sell.
Works for Hitec.

if that ends up being needed, i dont have a problem putting anything external..as long as its clean. Would this thing really kill a lipo that fast though?

Im starting to put in the MegaSound 9x. I have most of it figured out, except the "beeper" lead. I am following these instructions:

http://www.rc-miskolc.emiter.hu/rc-misk ... Itemid=150

The only part im stumped on is the beeper/transistor removal, and using that lead into the sound board. Here is a couple pics of the board the beeper is on:

Can anyone help?

Thanks
